Dunblane
Our Dunblane weekend will be based in Victoria hall and Dunblane Cathedral, both in the middle of Dunblane. There’s a 5 minute walk between the two venues. We’ll start the weekend by all meeting together in Victoria Hall on the Friday evening.

Getting there
By train: Victoria Hall is adjacent to Dunblane station
By bus: these services stop within a short walk of Victoria Hall:
- Stagecoach – service 15A (Perth to Stirling). Get off at Dunblane station
- First Bus – service C48 (Bannockburn to Kinbuck). Get off at Dunblane station
- Scottish City Link – service M8 (Glasgow to Perth). Get off at Dunblane police station
By car: From the A9 take the B9033 into Dunblane and turn off at the A820.
Car parks
- Springfield Terrace Car Park (25 Springfield Terrace, Dunblane FK15 9AS) is a 2 minute walk from Victoria Halls.
- There is also a car park at the train station.
Dunblane Cathedral

By train: Dunblane Cathedral is 5 minute’s walk from Dunblane station
By bus: these services stop less than 10 minute’s walk from Dunblane Cathedral:
- Stagecoach – service 15A (Perth to Stirling). Get off at Dunblane station

Strathblane
For our weekend in Strathblane we’ll be based in Edmonstone hall and the Village Club in Strathblane. There’s a short 1 minute walk between the two halls. We’ll start the weekend by all meeting together in the Edmonstone Hall on the Friday evening.
Edmonstone Hall
23 Glasgow Road, Blanefield, Glasgow G63 9JD.
The hall is just on the boundary between Strathblane and Blanefield.
Getting there
By bus: this service stops 2 minute’s walk from Edmonstone hall:

- First bus service x10 (Glasgow to Stirling) Get off at Blane Valley Inn
By car: Strathblane is on the A81 heading north from Glasgow. Go through the village centre. Edmonstone Hall is on the edge of the village on the left hand side.
Car parks
There is a small car park at the hall and on street parking in some side streets in the village
Strathblane Village Club
Glasgow Rd, Blanefield, Glasgow G63 9BP
Getting there
By bus: this service stops 3 minute’s walk from Village Club:
- First bus service x10 (Glasgow to Stirling) Get off at Blane Valley Inn
By car: Strathblane is on the A81 heading north from Glasgow. Go through the village centre and you’ll see Strathblane Village Club on the right hand side of the road.
Car parks
There’s limited parking available at the hall and on street parking in some side streets in the village
Biggar
For our weekend in Biggar we’ll be based in The Municipal Hall and the Gillespie Centre. There’s a short 1 minute walk between the two halls. We’ll start the weekend by all meeting together in the Municipal Hall on the Friday evening.
The Municipal Hall
Kirkstyle, Biggar ML12 6DT
Getting there
By bus: these services stop within a short walk of the Municipal Hall:
- Stagecoach service 101 (Edinburgh to Dumfries)
- Stuarts service 191 (Lanark to Biggar) NOT Sunday
- Borders Buses service 91 (Peebles to Biggar) NOT Sunday
By car: head to the centre of Biggar. The Municipal Hall is a short walk off the north west side of the main road. Turn down either the Kirkstyle or the B7016 – the hall is opposite where these two roads meet
Car parks
Parking in Biggar is limited
- Biggar Car park is just off the main road, a few yards to the north of the Gillespie Centre and the Muncipal Hall
- There is a small long-stay car park opposite the Co-op which is a 2 minute walk from both venues. You can access this via Station Road/Market Road . (The parking on the Co-op side of the road on either side of the Co-op building is not long-stay).
- There is some parking at the Municipal Hall
The Gillespie Centre
74 High Street, Biggar, ML12 6BJ
Getting there
By bus: these services stop within a short walk of the Gillespie Centre:
- Stagecoach service 101 (Edinburgh to Dumfries)
- Stuarts service 191 (Lanark to Biggar) NOT Sunday
- Borders Buses service 91 (Peebles to Biggar) NOT Sunday
By car: head to the centre of Biggar. The Gillespie Centre is on the south east side of the main road, opposite the Kirkstyle turning and the Crown Inn
